The MF 187 large square baler spec sheet, published September 1998, covers the MF 187 in detail. The 187 sits in the middle of the MF big baler range, producing 1.20 x 0.88 m bales up to 2.50 m in length, between the smaller MF 185 and the larger MF 190.

The 187 features a 2.2 m wide pickup with six double knotters, a 30-ball twine storage capacity and standard automatic lubrication. It weighs 8,020 kg without the optional tandem axle or cutter, and requires a minimum of 90 hp PTO, rising to 140 hp with the cutter fitted.

The optional 19-knife cutter unit gives a minimum chop length of 48 mm for high-quality silage or high-density straw bales. The optional 65 kph sprung tandem axle features self-steering rear wheels with up to 19 degrees of steering angle, lockable for reversing and road travel.

This spec sheet covers full dimensions, weights, PTO requirements and standard and optional equipment. A useful reference for owners and operators of the MF 187. Published September 1998.
