The MF 185S II large square baler spec sheet, published September 1998, covers the smallest model in the Massey Ferguson big baler range at that time. Producing 0.80 x 0.88 m bales up to 2.50 m in length, the 185S II sits below the MF 187 and MF 190 in the lineup.

The 185S II features a 2.0 m wide pickup with four double knotters, a 20-ball twine storage capacity and standard automatic lubrication. It weighs 5,346 kg without the optional tandem axle or cutter, and requires a minimum of 67 kW PTO, rising to 98 kW with the cutter. The optional 11-knife cutter gives a minimum chop length of 48 mm. The optional 65 kph sprung tandem axle features self-steering rear wheels with up to 19 degrees of steering angle, lockable for reversing and road travel.

This spec sheet covers full dimensions, weights, PTO requirements and standard and optional equipment. A useful reference for owners and operators of the MF 185S II. Published September 1998.
