MF 2100 Series Large Square Baler Brochure

The MF 2100 Series large square baler brochure, published November 2009, covers six models: the 2140, 2150, 2160, 2170, 2170 XD and 2190. This edition presents the full 2100 Series range, which preceded the current 2200 Series and remains widely used in the UK and Europe.

Bale sizes range from 0.80 x 0.70 m on the 2140 and 2150 through to 1.20 x 1.27 m on the 2190. The range features the renowned Massey Ferguson double knotter system, chain-driven directly from the gearbox for precise synchronisation of plunger, knotters and needles.

The 2140 and 2150 cutter variants use an 11-knife cutter unit, while the 2160, 2170 and 2190 use 19 knives, with three selectable chop lengths of 48, 96 and 192 mm. Tandem axle models feature self-steering rear wheels with hydraulic lock for reversing and steep hillwork, monitored via the C1000 baler terminal.
