The HT200A2 is a precision moisture monitoring system designed specifically for the newest Massey Ferguson LB2200 series large square balers (2023 and newer model years). This system provides accurate moisture readings with quick, straightforward installation using factory-installed harnesses.
Dual Star Wheel Technology:
The HT200A2 uses dual star wheel moisture sensors positioned directly behind the knotters. These sensors read crop moisture across the width of the bale chamber, providing side-to-side coverage. The sensor placement allows for moisture readings just 3 flakes behind the baler pickup, giving operators timely feedback on changing field conditions.
Wide Moisture Range:
The system measures moisture content from 7% to 70%, suitable for both dry hay production and high-moisture baling operations. This range covers most standard hay and straw baling applications.
Simple Installation:
The HT200A2 is designed for plug-and-play installation on 2023 and newer LB2200 series balers. The system utilizes factory plugs and harnesses already assembled on the baler, and powers through the baler’s ISOBUS connection – no additional tractor power harness is required. Installation and activation typically takes less than 15 minutes.
Display Features:
Optional Dye Marker Accessory:
The HT238DM Dye Marker can be added to the HT200A2 system. When installed, it automatically marks high-moisture bales with a food-grade red stripe when moisture exceeds your set threshold. The marker triggers once per bale occurrence, making it easy to identify bales requiring special handling. The food-grade dye mixes with water and marks approximately 60 bales per fill.
