Massey Ferguson IDL Secondary PTO Shaft – Female Lower Half, XD
The IDL secondary PTO shaft female lower half forms one part of the two-piece secondary PTO shaft assembly, connecting the main driveline to the flywheel clutch system on XD series balers. On XD models, where driveline torque demands are significantly higher than standard variants, precise shaft condition and correct mating between upper and lower halves is critical to reliable power transmission and flywheel clutch engagement.
This is the lower half only — the matching upper half (700736939) is a separate part. When replacing, both halves should be assessed together; fitting a new lower half against a worn upper half will accelerate wear on the replacement component. Inspect the flywheel clutch interface and main drive connection points for wear or damage before reassembly.
