The inductive speed sensor monitors shaft speeds at multiple locations throughout the baler, providing real-time data to the baler’s control system for operational monitoring and fault diagnostics. Five sensors are fitted per baler — failure of any individual sensor will trigger warnings or disable functions dependent on that speed signal, making prompt replacement essential to avoid unplanned downtime during the baling season.
