The plunger shaft roller bearings support the plunger shaft through the full compression stroke on every baling cycle — one of the highest-load bearing locations on the machine. This kit is supplied as a complete double bearing assembly, ensuring both bearings are replaced simultaneously and wear is matched across the assembly.
When fitting, inspect the plunger shaft (700199990) for wear or surface damage at the bearing contact zones — a worn shaft will shorten bearing service life regardless of bearing quality. Given the cyclical loading at this location, bearing condition should be assessed at each major service interval rather than on a reactive basis.
