Massey Ferguson Connecting Rod Bearing Housing
The connecting rod bearing housing is the structural interface between the crankshaft and the plunger connecting rod, housing the bearing assembly that transmits rotational force into the linear compression stroke. Operating at the highest load point in the plunger drive system, housing integrity is critical — any distortion, cracking or wear at the bearing bore will accelerate bearing failure and risks catastrophic plunger drive damage if left unaddressed.
When replacing the housing, inspect the crankshaft journal and connecting rod big-end for wear or surface damage before reassembly
