Massey Ferguson Silage Block/Needle Protector
The silage block mounts on top of the stationary knife to protect the needles as they pass through the bale chamber, deflecting crop material away from the needle path during the knotting cycle. It is particularly valuable in high-moisture silage and haylage conditions, where dense, heavy crop increases the risk of needle contact damage. This part supersedes 700129647P.
